1. Who We Are

Six Star Pro Sound & Lighting has spent over 30 years in consumer electronics, professional sound, music and entertainment. From our downtown Los Angeles facility we supply DJs, performers, venues, installers and production companies nationwide, both online and in person.

Our catalog covers live sound and pro audio, DJ equipment, club and stage lighting, truss and staging, video gear and more. Our staff brings long experience in retail, catalog and internet sales, and our lineup grows constantly with new arrivals and regular specials. We appreciate your interest and look forward to serving you.

2. Agreement to These Terms

The policies on this page govern every use of the sixstarpsl.com website and catalog. When you browse our site or catalog, or submit an order for any product or service, you accept these terms and agree to follow them. If you prefer not to accept them, you are free to shop elsewhere. We remain committed to your satisfaction and will always work to assist you.

We may revise these terms whenever needed. A revision becomes effective on the day it is posted, so we encourage you to revisit this page from time to time. Any purchase made after a revision is posted counts as acceptance of the revised terms.

Important: any payment or order placed with SixStarPSL, whether at our store, on our website, by phone, email, text message, social media or verbally, is an acceptance of these terms.

3. Placing an Order

  • We typically process orders 2 to 3 business days after receiving them, depending on product availability.
  • An order that arrives after 12:00 PM Pacific Time is treated as received on the next business day.

4. Accepted Payments

  • We take PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover when the shipping address can be verified. For your security, we ship to the billing address on the card. If you need delivery to another address, please contact us so we can arrange it.
  • Your payment is charged only once your order is ready to leave our facility.
  • We may confirm any order details to guard against fraud, and fraudulent activity will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
  • Pre orders are offered to in store customers only.
  • Cash on delivery (COD) is not available.

5. Pricing, Stock and Fulfillment

  • Prices and stock levels may change at any time without prior notice.
  • SixStarPSL is not liable for pricing mistakes, typographical errors or omissions. Should an error appear in any listing, including price or description, we will correct it and may cancel affected orders or withdraw an offer, even after the order is submitted.
  • When an ordered item is on backorder or unavailable, we will notify you by email promptly. Arrival dates for backorders, special orders and custom orders rely on our suppliers and on factors we do not control. We will make every reasonable effort to meet them, though we cannot promise a delivery date or accept liability for delays.
  • Every item depends on current stock, and some may not ship right away.
  • Many orders are fulfilled directly by the manufacturer or through one of our fulfillment and authorized distribution centers across the country. For that reason, local pickup is not available for every item. Please call us before planning a pickup.

6. Delivery

  • Shipments may leave from the manufacturer or from any of our fulfillment and authorized distribution centers nationwide, so delivery time depends on the ship from location.
  • SixStarPSL does not accept responsibility for packages that are lost or damaged by the carrier.
  • If a package arrives damaged or never arrives, file a claim with the carrier within 48 hours and notify us immediately.
  • Our parcel shipments travel by FedEx, which cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Please supply a street address, which we may verify.
  • Items too large or heavy for parcel service ship by freight carrier and are billed per pallet. Additional fees may apply.
  • Shipping charges exclude delivery services and related fees such as forklift, liftgate, labor and customs.
  • Free shipping covers ground delivery only. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and certain other locations require air shipping at extra cost.
  • Tracking information is emailed automatically to the address on your order. Items sent straight from a manufacturer or distribution center do not generate an automatic tracking email; contact us and we will obtain the tracking number for you, which may take some time.

7. Return Policy

  • Every sale is final, so please double check your selection before purchasing.
  • We do not give cash or credit card refunds, even for purchases made the same day.
  • All products are covered by their manufacturer warranty. No refunds are issued. Exchanges are accepted with a 30% restocking fee, minus any shipping costs already incurred.
  • Special orders and pre orders are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • A return authorization from SixStarPSL is required before sending anything back.
  • Merchandise sold as is, special orders and pre orders cannot be returned under any circumstance.
  • Returned goods must be in their original condition, complete with all boxes, packing materials, manuals and warranty cards.
  • Shipping costs for returns are paid by the customer.
  • Shipping charges are never refunded or credited.
  • sixstarpsl.com does not provide price protection, price matching guarantees or any 30 day return or refund option.
  • Opened items, used or refurbished goods, computer software, computer related products and accessories are not returnable or exchangeable.

8. Special Orders and Pre Orders

  • Once placed, special orders and pre orders are treated as sold goods.
  • These orders are not refundable or exchangeable.

9. Warranty Service

  • Products carry the manufacturer's factory warranty only. SixStarPSL does not provide a separate store warranty.
  • Damage caused by misuse or user error is not our responsibility and voids the factory warranty.
  • We do not provide price protection, price guarantees or a 30 day return or refund option.
  • For warranty and non warranty service alike, we can forward your item to the manufacturer for you. All shipping and related charges are the customer's responsibility.
  • For quicker turnaround, you may send the item to the manufacturer yourself.
  • Serviced items must be collected within 30 days. After 30 days, unclaimed items become the property of SixStarPSL and no further claims will be accepted.
  • These items carry no warranty and are never returnable: lamps and bulbs, all fluids (fog, haze, bubble and similar), cartridges, cables, headphones and earphones (for hygiene reasons), wired and wireless microphones, raw speakers, tweeters, cases, racks, lighting stands, truss, speaker stands, bulk items, computer software, computer related products, novelties and accessories.
  • Please contact the manufacturer directly for technical support with computer related products.

10. Brand Names

Brand and product names on this site identify merchandise that we have purchased lawfully and offer for resale, and imply no other representation. Every purchase from SixStarPSL confirms that you understand and accept these policies in full.

11. Legal Notices

Unless a product page states otherwise, all merchandise shown on our website, in our catalog or in our store is new and factory sealed. sixstarpsl.com does not sell store or extended warranties. We are glad to send covered items back to the manufacturer on your behalf; shipping for warranty service is not covered and is paid by the customer. Non warranty service is billed for parts, labor, shipping and any other applicable costs.

The following carry no warranty and cannot be returned for any reason: lamps and bulbs, fluids, cartridges, cables, headphones, cases, racks, lighting and other stands, novelties, bulk items, raw speakers, tweeters and slipmats. Merchandise sold as is cannot be returned for any reason.

Some items appear without a price because pricing changes frequently. Call or email us for a current quote. If you cannot find an item, ask us; we can often source it for you at a competitive price.
