The DX88 is a high-performance 96kHz digital audio expander engineered to streamline the integration of 8 microphone/line inputs and 8 line outputs within fixed installations. This integration is achieved through the utilization of standard Phoenix/Euroblock connectors, ensuring a straightforward and dependable extension of analog audio connectivity.

The DX88-P showcases remarkable flexibility, enabling placement up to 100 meters away from the mixer, thereby providing optimal positioning flexibility. A single Cat5e cable establishes a connection to the mixer or an upstream DX Expander via the DX A port. The DX B port facilitates convenient daisy-chaining of a downstream DX Expander, expanding remote input and output capabilities.

To further enhance adaptability, users have the option to employ a rack mount kit, allowing for the installation of up to two DX88-P units within a standard 1U 19" rack slot. This configuration is designed for seamless integration with analog equipment, especially AV switchers, providing an efficient means of connectivity. Additionally, the DX88-P can be conveniently rack-mounted alongside a DX Hub or GPIO module by combining the optional rack kit with the designated DX Hub/GPIO rack kit. This consolidated setup offers a comprehensive solution for efficient signal management and connectivity in professional audio environments.
