Steel backbox for recessed installation in a wall is made to accept a grille/frame in Lowell’s DC802 Series, which are designed to mount a standard 8 inch speaker and a digital clock.

A&E SPECIFICATIONS

The backbox for mounting a grille from Lowell’s DC802 Series shall be Lowell Model RE1175. The 20- gauge steel backbox shall measure 11.75 in. square x 4 in. deep and shall be made for recessed installation. It shall feature combination knockouts on four sides and include a foam pad. The backbox shall have a black powder epoxy finish.
