Avantis delivers a powerful toolkit right out of the box, but the dPack upgrade significantly scales your capabilities. By integrating elite dLive processing, dPack provides access to DEEP compressors , 24 instances of Dyn8 , and the cutting-edge RackUltra FX Suite (requires RackUltra FX card).

dPack Includes

dPack expands Avantis and Avantis Solo’s mixer architecture from 64 to 96 input channels and from 42 to 56 configurable mixes, providing the headroom to handle larger, more complex productions without compromise.

RackUltra FX

The RackUltra FX Card, available as a factory-fitted option for all new Avantis and Avantis Solo mixers, or available as an upgrade for existing units, adds 8 RackUltra FX engines to any dPack-enabled Avantis system without consuming any of the platform’s busses, channels, or RackExtra FX slots.

This cutting-edge hardware enables a suite of advanced vocal tools, including Vocal Shifter for radical alterations, Vocal Tuner for natural pitch correction, and Vocal Gridder for snappy, modern pitch effects.

Beyond vocals, the RackUltra FX card offers Spaces Reverb Designer and Plate Reverb Designer for crafting stunning reverberation, a trio of Harmonisers for rich vocal layering, the advanced Rhythm Delay, and powerful tone-shaping tools like the Saturator and Amp+Cab Distortion.

Continuity UI

With 15.6″ Full HD touchscreens at the heart of the experience, Continuity UI allows you to see and instantly interact with more of what matters, enabling a seamless connection between the physical controls and the screen.

The faders react on touch to immediately highlight the active channels for instant visual feedback.

The channel rotaries let you work gains or pans, then at the touch of a button, dynamically fold the display to show EQ or compressor parameters across the whole bank.

Each screen also features a Soft Rotary tab on the right-hand side, giving you split-second access to key freely-assignable parameters like aux sends, EQ, compressor and FX on the currently selected or specific channel.

The whole system is set up to dynamically surface the information you need at any moment and put control right at your fingertips.

Well Connected

For local I/O, Avantis is well equipped with XLR analogue inputs, XLR analogue outputs, plus AES (Stereo In, Stereo Out).

Two additional I/O Ports allow Avantis to benefit from the full range of current dLive option cards, including Dante (64×64 and 128×128), Waves, gigaACE, MADI and more, expanding the scope for system integration, FoH / monitor splits and multitrack recording.

Controllers

Avantis can be controlled using the Avantis Director software, MixPad app, Custom Control app or from our range of remote controllers and GPIO interfaces, with up to 48 IP remote controllers over a standard TCP/IP network.

Applications include control of IEM mixes on stage, extra fader banks at FOH, and local control in breakout rooms.

Avantis Director

Avantis Director is a free Windows and Mac OS application enabling offline editing and online control capabilities.

Avantis 4You

4You is a free personal mixing app for dLive, Avantis, SQ, and CQ series mixers, enabling performers to control their own monitor mix from their Android or iOS devices and freeing the audio engineer to focus on the front-of-house sound.

Avantis MixPad

Avantis MixPad is an engineer’s mixing tool providing wireless mobile control for Allen & Heath Avantis digital mixers. It gives you the freedom to walk the room or stage and control the sound right where it is needed. Avantis MixPad and the Avantis mixer can work together to provide simultaneous control of independent functions, for example one engineer using the mixer to mix front-of-house sound, and another using the iPad to mix monitors on stage. Several iPads can be connected, each providing independent control.

Avantis OneMix

OneMix is a cut down version of the Avantis MixPad app that locks control to a single Aux (monitor) mix. Multiple iPads may be set up by the ‘Admin’ user to give each musician customised personal monitor control via Wi-Fi connection to Avantis without the risk of affecting the other monitors or FOH main mix. Avantis OneMix can be configured to provide as much or as little control as needed.

IP Controllers

Avantis is compatible with our range of networkable, PoE compatible remote controllers which can be programmed via the Avantis mixer or Director software, and configured to control any aspect of the system.

Custom Control

Custom Control is a customisable, cross-platform control app, providing elegant, bespoke control over Avantis, dLive and AHM audio systems.
