DX32

The modular design of the DX32 allows you to build your own expander with the I/O you need. Each of the 4 slots can hold an 8 channel input or output card with both analogue and AES digital options.

Maximum Flexibility

The DX32 can be placed up to 100m away from the mixer for maximum flexibility of positioning, and includes rack ears for mounting in a 4U 19″ rack space. The expander connects via a single Cat5e cable to the mixer via a secure EtherCon port. A second locking EtherCon port is provided for redundant connection to compatible hardware.

Peace of Mind

The DX32 supports dual-cable connection to compatible mixers as well as DX Link and DX Hub. The second PSU port can be fitted with a redundant PSU, and power supplies are hot-swappable so you never need to power down.

I/O Modules

Next-generation 8-input preamp design with DC coupled gain stage. Features 32-bit / 96kHz ADC for class-leading conversion.

8 recallable preamps with XLR connectors for balanced or unbalanced microphone and line level signals. Gain, Pad and 48V are digitally controlled within the preamp.

4x stereo AES3 inputs on XLR with SRC (32kHz – 192kHz sampling rate). Sample Rate Conversion can be bypassed for 96kHz operation.

Next-generation D-A 8-channel output card design using the very latest 32-bit converters and specially selected op amps for ultra-low noise.

8 line level, balanced XLR outputs. The outputs are relay protected to prevent power on or off thumps.

4x stereo AES3 outputs on XLR (44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz or 96kHz switchable).
