The RCF EVOX J9 is an active, three-way portable column system designed for maximum clarity and power in a compact format. A 1.75 inch neodymium compression driver on a 120 by 40 degree True Resistive Waveguide ensures wide, consistent coverage, while six 3 inch full-range neodymium transducers and a high-power 12 inch woofer in a bass-reflex enclosure deliver articulate mids and deep, controlled lows. Driven by a 2100 W onboard dual-channel Class-D amplifier, the J9 delivers an impressive 130 dB Max SPL output. Part of the EVOX J Series, it incorporates RCF tour-grade technology in a sleek, unobtrusive package for bands, DJs, and live performers. Available in black or white.

Fast Transients. Zero Compromise. Powered by a 2100 W onboard Class-D amplifier, the J9 delivers 130 dB Max SPL. Three equalization presets are available: Live / Linear for flat, neutral output, Club for extended lows and crisp highs, and Voice for optimized intelligibility. It is highly energy efficient and requires no cooling fan. The amplifier is mounted on a solid aluminum heat exchanger at the rear of the unit with no moving parts, mechanically coupled to the internal frame for long-term reliability. The input stage features a low-distortion design with an advanced safety limiter, is designed in accordance with EN 62368-1, and features a switch-mode power supply that combines high efficiency with minimal weight.

True 3-Way Design. The neodymium compression driver uses a 1.75 inch voice coil and Kapton dome on a True Resistive Waveguide for a resonance-free load and constant 120 by 40 degree coverage. The forward radiation of the array of six 3 inch neodymium drivers, combined with the centered waveguide, delivers a balanced point-source response. The 12 inch RCF transducer provides deep, controlled low frequencies ideal for bass-heavy music and high-energy performances.

Bass Motion Control. BMC delivers the lowest audible frequencies without compromising woofer stability, with extended linearity and improved sound integrity, mapping the woofer dynamic behavior to limit overexcursions while allowing full freedom in signal reproduction.

FiRPHASE. Proprietary FiRPHASE processing delivers transparent sound, exceptional clarity, and precise imaging, optimizing phase response across the listening area while maintaining low system latency.

Variable Height Configuration. The J9 includes a lightweight aluminum-alloy pole that links the column to the subwoofer and integrates all required connections for fast setup. Height is configurable: mount the column at standard height with the full-length pole, place it at zero offset directly on the bass enclosure, or raise it with full or half-length pole extensions. Every EVOX system includes a padded column transport bag. When extended low-end is required, add an RCF subwoofer. ACE-enabled models, starting from the SUB AX Series, include dedicated integration presets for EVOX systems for perfect tuning at the touch of a button.
