A&E SPECIFICATIONS

The backbox for recessed installation of 8 in. speakers shall be Lowell Model No. P68X, which shall measure 10 in. x 10 in. x 4 in. It shall be formed from 18-gauge steel, welded and finished in black powder epoxy paint. It shall be undercoated and lined with a foam pad. It shall feature 1/2–3/4 in. knockouts for conduit on four sides and slots for depth adjustment on two sides. It shall include recessed mounting tabs with 8-32 U-clips for grille installation.
